I have been doing presentations since 2017 to a variety of groups including the Art Gallery of Hamilton and camera clubs across Canada. My talk, "Building Confidence to Shoot Street" has been popular with novice and experienced street photographers. It is 75 minutes in length followed by a Q & A session. I demonstrate through sharing my images and back stories behind them how to look for photos candidly. Also, included is my five page handout about street photography that covers the basics.
My fun talk encourages and inspires people to hit the streets to make their own images.
I am now offering my new presentation, "Faces in the Street, Candid and Camera Aware People Photography." In this talk I will share my experiences, images and discussion of my process for photographing people on the street. Ultimately viewers will be motivated to go out and approach people and make their portrait and create candids with more storytelling narratives.
