DYING.MultipleEndings
My first ever interactive art piece "To Remember You By" has been chosen to exhibit in Toronto, Ontario from January 23 to February 3, 2025. Dying is an event series, that explores death through the lens of design and art, running during the DesignTO Festival. My work delves into the themes of death, loss, and grieving. I will have 65 photographs of my loved ones who have passed on and fine art images from my "Rest in Peace" series. Attendees of the exhibition can pick up these photos and also read the stories on the back. They are invited to fill out a postcard with their thoughts and/or tribute to their loved one. I am honoured to have this opportunity to start conversations about grieving and healing.Â
I was happy to attend the opening on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the opening reception at 180 Shaw Street, Toronto, Ontario on the third floor hallway.Â
